Royalties – Navigation needed under China taxation climate


Royalties are frequently arranged between multinational companies crossing borders. Different countries / taxation jurisdictions have different treatments towards royalties. Such differences on one hand create loopholes in international taxation, which are often exploited by foreign companies. On the other hand, along with the advancement of taxation administration, royalties arrangements also impose great challenge on taxpayers. In China, payment of royalties will often triggers issues / scrutiny from tax perspective. This seminar aims at sharing with the audience the following topics:

  •  Royalties and Customs
