The Impact Sessions is an event series hosted by the Global Shapers Community for professionals in the global development field. Since 2017, the series has organized monthly drinks with notable speakers from Beijing and the region to share insights and experience in multilateral institutions. The series brings together a network of multilateral banks, development agencies, non-profit partners and consultants to foster real long-term collaborations, and generate relevant industry content.

The event will use a format of "unconference" which is user-centric. The target audience is senior managers, project officers and/or sector leaders in the international development field. The topic on May 10 is "Work in progress and 2018 plans of your organization". Each speaker delivers a 10-minute presentation, followed by a 10-minute Q&A session and audience discussion.
