2018 marks 10 years of Eco Design Fair in Shanghai—ten years of supporting and empowering consumers, community action organizations, creatives and eco-businesses. Eco Design Fair brings all these inspiring communities together.

Economic growth in China is increasingly focused on consumerism, which has detrimental effects on the environment. Join us this Friday, April 27th, as Sherry Poon, founder of the fair, will provide insight into China's changing consumer attitudes towards sustainability over the years and action points on how consumers and brands can change their consumption habits.

Eco Design Fair is an event organized by a grass-roots community that demonstrates sustainable lifestyles to the public. It was started in 2008 and was Shanghai's first initiative to give the community tools to have environmentally-positive design and lifestyles. There are a number of events held at the fair each year and they range from fashion shows for eco clothes and live music to a farmers market selling refreshments. The aim of the fair is to celebrate a healthy and sustainable lifestyle for the people of Shanghai.
