Event Summary

Businesses, in the long history of the capitalist world economy, have been leading to disastrous and unintended consequences with a pursuit of profit alone.

However, with so much power in hand, can they still be change-makers and pursue profit while creating social and environmental impacts simultaneously?

Join us Friday, March 9 as we invite Min Ko, director of B Corps China Team—an independently run task force with support from the Leping Foundation and acknowledged by B Lab Global—to share her upcoming journey of building the B Corp movement in China and why B Corps matter.

B Corps are for-profit companies certified by the non-profit B Lab to meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency through a measurement system called B Impact Assessment. B Corps drive their business with the pursuit of stakeholder’s value over shareholder’s value.

And today, it has grown into a leading global movement of using business as a force for good to redefine what success means.

FreshStart warmly welcomes all to attend, listen and ask questions.
