Women should be celebrated everyday. What are the things that can be done inside of a relationship to support the career of women?
There is so much more that we don’t see behind a successful relationship: partners look like they support each other, they grow together and feel empowered. But what is reality like?
We often hear that behind each successful man, there is a strong woman. How is it for women? How different is the support needed by a woman compared to a man? Do we communicate the same?
Listen to 8 women and men sharing the behind-the-scenes of their relationship. What are their tips, their recommendations, what worked and what didn’t.
A panel of 4 women will explain what worked for them, how they feel supported and empowered by their partner. How they combined their life as a manager, as a CEO, as a mom, as a wife, as a woman… all the facets that make them who they are today.
A panel of 4 men will share their experience, what they personally do to support their partner. They will also share their perspective on mental load that most of the time still lies down on the women.
Mental load can be defined as when one of the partner has to constantly think two or three steps in advance of what the family need. It's an invisible burden that's left unacknowledged: the other partner knows that the washing and ironing take time and energy, but they don’t realize the stress of constantly knowing everything that must be done to get there.
Bare Bare aims to connect people and remind us that we’re not alone. Through sharing and listening to our behind-the-scenes, we can increase our empathy, compassion, and resilience. We hope Bare will be the first step in fostering a broader culture of strength through vulnerability.
