What are the More than a Market Awards? The More than a Market Awards aim to honor social and environmental engagement by German companies in China. No matter whether you are a small, medium-size or large company: All German companies operating in China are invited to submit their social, environmental and charity projects. This year, the awards will be handed out in four categories:
1. Small companies (up to 500 employees in China),
2. Medium-size companies (501 to 5000 employees in China) and
3. Large companies (more than 5000 employees in China)
4. Special category in 2018: "Outstanding Supply Chain Management in China"
Each company can hand in one project in the category 1 to 3 (according to company size) and an additional project in the special category 4. The projects will be included in the More than a Market publication. Our honorable jury will hand out trophies to all shortlisted companies at the More than a Market Awards Gala on 31st May 2018. Kindly save the date! Projects may include but are not limited to: charity projects such as poverty alleviation, education equity, social engagement in your community, disaster relief, vocational training for underprivileged youth, environmental and climate projects, cooperation projects with social organizations and NGOs in China, projects to include workers with disabilities, supply chain projects,... Doing good is what counts. The More than a Market initiative aims to promote and create visibility for corporate social engagement by German companies in China.
