Bialik College visits Kehilat Shanghai for a Kabbalat shabbat service, shabbat dinner, and a discussion about growing up Jewishly in Asia.


If you have a teen who has grown up in Asia and who wants to present, please see the prompt below...however, we would love for all teens to come, no presenting required!

Prompt: Please think about a few minutes worth (3-5) of things to say about what it is like to grow up in Shanghai. How is school? What do you do for fun? How do you stay connected to your Jewish identity? If you need help with this, please do not hesitate to contact Hannah. This should be relatively informal and fun :) you are talking to peers!
