Corporate culture can be a major source of comparative advantage but it also can bring a company to its knees. Our main speaker Frank Fiebrandt, a seasoned China manager with a record of more than 15 years in general management positions, shares his first-hand experience as interim manager. In his analysis of a case of a German-invested manufacturing enterprise he will describe a situation urgently calling for corporate culture change and list indicators which may function as early warning signals.
In the second briefing, Dr Laurenz Awater, managing director of the Shanghai-based INNOVA Management Institute, will pinpoint essential steps towards corporate culture change, arguably the most difficult type of change initiative one can undertake.
Manfred Hoefler and Istvan Kosztolanyi, senior partners at European consulting company Integrated Consulting Group (ICG), will elaborate on ways how to make an organization more agile, a crucial factor in maintaining market leadership in the face of increasingly fierce competition from Chinese enterprises.
