Event Details


When did that moment come for six Beijing entrepreneurs when they realized that you are “Entrepreneurs for Life”? Six Beijingers who are members of the local Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) chapter will discuss more about that moment.

These successful entrepreneurs will also share invaluable insights about they learned in China, which will help new and experienced entrepreneurs in Beijing to succeed. The EO learning event will share new insights about operating businesses in Beijing and five the audience members the opportunity to connect with a room filled with local entrepreneurs.

The EO learning event takes place on 11/14 at the new naked HUB in Sanlitun. For many people in Beijing’s entrepreneur community, this will be their first opportunity to experience this innovative office. We will also be serving wine from CHEERS and pizza from Gung Ho!.

CanCan ็œ‹็œ‹™ won its seed funding in 2016 from SOSV, one of the world’s largest VCs. Katherine also runs CanAsia Group, a management consulting firm she founded in 2008 with offices in Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore, Beijing, and Shanghai. CanAsia provides acting CFO services and financial due diligence services for fundraising and M&A consulting projects.     After starting and running Chandra-Mia, a Switzerland based charity organization that helps young adults to receive education in various Asian countries, Claudia Masuegar decided to follow the family’s tradition in the wine industry. She first stated a Beijing based wine wholesale company until her warehouse burned down in November 2010. She took the chance to reconsider the market and started the wine retail chain CHEERS. The goal was it to make wine drinking fun and affordable and introduce the wine lifestyle and culture to a younger generation. She is responsible for leading the effort to transform the attitude of wine in China and introduced thousands of people to the benefits and excitement of wine drinking. She is currently in the middle of her ambitious goal of expanding to 888 stores throughout China and helping more people start their own businesses by sharing the fun of wine. His first business led to his current business of building a comprehensive food and beverage company, The SinoTaste Group, that started in Beijing and now has spread across China. Not satisfied with building two branded café chains, he also began Sinolytics, a boutique market research firm focused on the FMCG industry in Mainland China, and Marvine, a food and beverage trading company.

AJ leveraged his career at Deloitte Consulting to start a leading educational consulting firm that eventually earned CITIC/AC Nielson’s recognition as one of China’s Top 5 graduate consulting firms in both 2015 and 2016. He has since turned the company over to his co-founder in 2017 to start a new business because he is an “entrepreneur for life”.
