An innovative celebration of Asian cuisines, traditions and flavors, Lychee invites guests to experience the exotic, the elegant and the enchanting - right in the heart of Shanghai.

About Chi Fan For Charity Shanghai

Chi Fan for Charity (CFFC) is Shanghai’s premiere charity dining event. Chi Fan for Charity’s innovative model takes the standard concept of a large gala charity dinner and throws it out the window!
WHAT IS CHI FAN FOR CHARITY?
Chi Fan for Charity (CFFC) Shanghai takes place at various renowned restaurants across the city on the same night. Participating restaurants donate a table of 10 each, providing a meal with a minimum value of 500 RMB. Each table is hosted by one of Shanghai’s movers and shakers. They invite their influential network of celebrities, business professionals, managing directors, and other key opinion leaders in our community. Each guest simply pays the set price at their restaurant (500-1500RMB), which covers the three-course meal, beverage pairings as well as entrance to the official after party. After dinner, all hosts, guests, and sponsors unite at one location to compare stories of their wonderful meals, enjoy live music and dancing, compete in a raffle and silent auction all the while enjoying access to our open bar - all donated to charity.
Since 2009, the event has grown year after year, including Chi Fan for Charity events in Beijing and Hong Kong. Collectively, Chi Fan for Charity has successfully raised a combined total of over 5.7 million RMB for over 20 diverse charities. Last year in Shanghai, 46 of the city’s top restaurants donated meals to over 450 dining guests raising over 230,000 RMB.
Since 2009, the event has grown year after year, including Chi Fan for Charity events in Beijing and Hong Kong. Collectively, Chi Fan for Charity has successfully raised a combined total of over 5.7 million RMB for over 20 diverse charities. Now in its seventh year, Chi Fan for Charity Shanghai is set for Saturday November 18th, 2017 to support two well-deserving beneficiaries.

Shanghai Sunrise is a volunteer-led non-profit organization breaking the cycle of poverty by
raising funds for educational scholarships for underprivileged and at-risk young people in
Shanghai. Since 1996, its Student Sponsorship program has created almost 11,000 high
school and university scholarships and helped over 2,500 students and their families.
Through financial aid and student engagement, sponsors invest directly in the lives of young
people in Shanghai, enabling them to complete their schooling and building self-esteem,
aspirations and goals.
