Dear VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery members,
We cordially invite you to participate in the 11th VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Sector China Management Meeting ("CMM") on October 25th in Shanghai.
The VDMA Food Processing and Packaging China Machinery Management Meeting aims to gather the top executives from our members to discuss and exchange the current business situation and latest trends in our industry.
The CMM will focus on the theme of Green, Low Carbon Transformation, Enhancing Efficiency & Energy Savings. During the half-day program, we will have a close look at the Tianma Industrial Park, which is the first low-carbon environmental protection industrial park in Shanghai.
The park has an important mission in the construction of a 'waste-free city', upholding the concept of green low-carbon development, focusing on the disposal of municipal solid waste in Songjiang and Qingpu districts, and is committed to the last kilometer of the closed loop of solid waste disposal recycling.

After the tour, we are honored to invite Mrs. Wang Xin, Vice President and Secretary General of China Light Industry Machinery Association (CLIMA) and Mrs. Beatrix Fraese, Deputy Managing Director of VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association, to explain the policies on green and low-carbon transformation actions being implemented in China and Germany, extended in Europe, to share best practices.
In addition, Mr. Ren Kai, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Shuzhi Green Packaging Research Institute, will share his views on the mode and trend of packaging waste management.
The member representatives from food processing, packaging machinery, and industry peers will sit together to dive into the opportunities and challenges carried among the food processing and packaging machinery and equipment manufacturers during the macro green transition.
