We are delighted to invite you to a breakfast seminar. The event will take place on May 23 in Shanghai, and will feature a discussion on China's growth outlook and the evolving Asian trade flows amidst changing geopolitical issues.
China's pace of recovery continues to surprise expectations, and while domestic demand still has further upside, pockets of weakness remain. Against this backdrop, the seminar will explore the latest economic trends in China and their potential impact on the region.
Our distinguished speaker: Eugenia Victorino, Head of Asia Strategy at SEB will share insights on the key drives of growth in China, the challenges and opportunities presented by the current economic landscape, and the latest developments in bilateral relations with the US. This event presents a unique opportunity to engage with leading thinkers in the field, connect with other professionals in the industry, and gain valuable insights into the current state of the Chinese economy.

Previously Head of Emerging Market Banks and Country management at SEB, Head of Corporate Banking at SEB Shanghai, Area Manager for Northeast Asia and client executive at SEB Hong Kong Branch. I have also been Board member of the Banker Association for Finance and Trade and the International Council of Swedish Industry.

Eugenia Victorino joined SEB in August 2018 as the Head of Asia Strategy focusing on macro and FX strategy research on China and the rest of Asia Pacific region. Prior to SEB, Eugenia spent almost 6 years as an Economist at Australia & New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ Bank) in Singapore covering ASEAN and South Korea. She is a frequent speaker at major international media outlets like Bloomberg TV, CNBC, and BBC. She has also worked at ING Bank in Amsterdam focusing on country risk in Emerging Markets. Previously, she worked as a university lecturer handling Microeconomic Theory, Mathematics for Economics, and Statistics for Economics at Ca' Foscari University of Venice and Ateneo de Manila.
