ROCKWOOL Qingyuan Factory is the 51st manufacturing base of ROCKWOOL Group in the world. It was officially put into operation on December 9, 2022 in Guangfo Industrial Park, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province. This manufacturing base covers an area of 65,000 square meters, with a total investment of 480 million RMB. It is a key measure for ROCKWOOL Group to increase investment in the Chinese market, lead the development of the rock wool industry, and promote local energy conservation, emission reduction, and green development.

Advanced Electrofusion Technology

High temperature control system—effective and uniform melting of raw materials;

Centrifuge with patented technology—more stable and reliable fibre;

Automatic heating and curing furnace system—higher precision, more uniform curing, better strength performance, and guaranteed dimensional accuracy.

Further optimizing product stability, durability, and high temperature resistance;

Overall improving rock wool products in terms of performance, health and safety.

Huge Investment and System Upgrades (energy-saving, emission reduction and environmental)

The most advanced electric furnace technology—improving energy utilization and reducing carbon emissions;

100% recycling of all waste water and zero discharge;

100% recycling of production surplus materials and waste materials;

Upgrading the exhaust gas treatment system by investing 56 million, making it better than the national standard and achieving ultra-clean emissions.
