The activity consists of an Open day for consumers, in cooperation with Corner's Deli in Southern China. It's an all-day activity outside with stands where different products will be represented within a "global food day". EU pork will have a stand with decorations, tasting and cooking demonstration sessions for pork and ham.
Chinese consumers are largely unaware when eating EU pork. The objective is to make the consumers aware and familiar with the EU origin, to promote high-end cuts and products and to connect consumers with our media tools (O2O integration) for follow up.
Moreover, due to the COVID-19 disruption and the impact that has had in the trust placed by Chinese consumers in imported frozen products, the event will also emphasize the from farm to fork process, focusing on the safety aspects of the pork production from pigs in farms to final products in supermarkets.
