Dear VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Sector Members,
We cordially invite you to participate the VDMA food processing and packaging machinery sector China Executive Dinner dated on November 27th in Shanghai.
The event will begin with a welcome address by Mr. Richard Clemens, Managing Director of VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association, VDMA Frankfurt. He will share the update of global Food Processing and Packaging machinery trade, with a focus on Chinese market.
Next, Ms. Doris Yang, Senior Project Manager of VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery sector, will present the BCS Autumn 2025 Results of all-sectors and food processing and packaging machinery sector.
The presentations will be followed by an interactive deep dive via round table discussion, during which the attendees can engage directly with the speakers.
The evening will conclude with a networking dinner, offering a relaxed setting to connect with industry peers and continue the conversation. The Executive Dinner offers a unique opportunity to engage with industry experts, exchange ideas, and strengthen connections within the Food Processing and Packaging machinery community.

Managing Director of VDMA e.V. - Food Processing and Packaging Machinery AssociationRichard Clemens has served as the managing director of the the Food Processing and Packaging Association and Process Plant and Equipment Association within the German Engineering Federation VDMA since 2003. He studied Aerospace Engineering at Munich University.
He joined VDMA in 1993, working first as a PR specialist for its Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association and its Process Plant and Equipment Association. For these two associations he was then appointed deputy managing director in 1998. From 1999 to 2003, before taking on his current position in 2003, Richard Clemens served as managing director of the Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association and as deputy managing director of the Process Plant and Equipment Association.
