We are pleased to announce VDMA President Bertram Kawlath will embark on an official business visit to Shanghai and Kunshan in July 2026.
The curated program includes high-level meeting with Leaders from Kunshan, an on-site factory exploration at Startup Factory, CEO roundtable and in-depth open discussions with President Bertram Kawlath, followed by a technical site tour to a cutting-edge Humanoid Robotics R&D Center.
Bertram Kawlath has been involved in the VDMA for many years. He has been a member of the Executive Board of the VDMA Regional Association of Bavaria since 2011 and has been its Chairman since 2021. In 2013, Bertram Kawlath became a member of the main board of the VDMA and is also a member of the board of trustees of the VDMA Impuls Foundation. In 2020, Bertram Kawlath was elected VDMA Vice President.
Bertram Kawlath was elected VDMA President in October 2024.
