Event Details
This event combines established coaching research, emerging AI coaching evidence and practical experience to examine how AI is affecting the full coaching ecosystem. The session is not a product presentation; the focus is professional judgment, application and open discussion.
How AI Is Already Shaping the Coaching Ecosystem
How AI, algorithms and automation are being used across coaching platforms and practices, including marketing, coach recruitment, client acquisition, coach-client matching, scheduling, payments and programme management. The discussion will distinguish conventional automation from newer generative AI capabilities.
What Creates Change in Coaching?
Established coaching research - including working alliance, self-determination, goal-setting and self-regulation - will be used as lenses for examining which mechanisms of change can be supported by AI and which may depend more strongly on human relationship, contextual judgment and professional responsibility.
AI Across the Coaching Journey
A practical examination of AI tools used before, during and between coaching conversations, including business development, preparation, reflective practice, role-play, behavioural rehearsal, goal tracking, accountability and continuity between sessions.
Digital Coaching and the Future of Practice
Lessons from the development of Digital Coach Andy will be considered as a transparent case study rather than a product demonstration. This will support a broader discussion about future clients, global delivery, digitally supported development and blended human-AI approaches.
Ethics, Privacy and Professional Responsibility
The implications for contracting, informed consent, confidentiality, data storage, access to conversations, model training, retention, deletion, cross-border processing, professional boundaries, escalation and human accountability.
