Kehilat Shanghai invites all our members and friends to join us for a fun and relaxing community building retreat at the Shanghai Yacht Club & Resort. We've subsided the retreat at ~50% of the actual cost for all members and non-members so that everyone can join!
What's included:
- Two nights accommodations in a group villa on the SYCR grounds. Families will share a room while singles can bunk with friends. Single and not sure who to bunk with? We can help with that!
- Round trip bus from a central location in Shanghai to the SYCR
- All meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will strive for kosher style meals and vegan options. You are responsible for your own snacks.
- All planned activities
Pricing is based on a minimum of 2 adults per room.
Itinerary (subject to change):
Day 1:
2 pm - Depart from Shanghai
3 pm - Arrive at SYCR and check in
4 pm - Group welcome activities
6:30 pm - Shabbat service and dinner
8:30 pm - Bonfire and songs
Day 2:
Breakfast
9 am - Canoe adventure
12 pm - Lunch
2 pm - Limmud talks and activities for all ages
6:30 pm - Havdallah service and dinner
Day 3:
Breakfast
9 am - Dragonboat fun race
12 pm - Lunch
2 pm - Return home
Can't take a half day on Friday? Join us when you can. SYCR is only a one hour drive from the center of Shanghai!
