His past roles include at Linfox as General Manager Commercial Projects, and 18 years at Toll Group, where he held a variety of roles across the group, including Global Head – Automotive & Industrials and Executive General Manager – Intermodal. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Accounting and postgraduate qualifications from Melbourne Business School and Harvard Business School as well as being a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Darren Hu joined China Southern Airlines in 2015 and was appointed as Cargo Manager of AU & NZ in March 2022. He has rich marketing experience in the Chinese domestic air logistics industry as well as considerable knowledge of air freight sales management.

Jeny Joined Xuehang group in 2017 and is responsible for the expansion of its business overseas, with a strong core focus of navigating import and export customs clearance policies and provision of an one-stop, door to door airfreight services to China for overseas exporters and importers to ensure every shipment is smooth. Xuehang Group, founded in 1996, is one of the earliest and largest aviation logistics enterprises in South China, has 76 branches and operational centers nationally and has significant ownership of two major airports in China.

Virginia Birrell joined the Australia China Business Council Victoria as CEO in August 2014. Her primary responsibilities are to optimise the performance and strategic growth of ACBC Victoria and to ensure member companies are provided with key training, policy advice and strategic networking activities to grow their business opportunities in and with China.

Over 20 years Asia based experience (17 years living in China) in a range of operational, management, brand building, brand strategy development and strategic roles primarily assisting companies’ start-up and grow within the complex Chinese market environment.

Huang Ruiseng works in the has 23 years of experience in customs clearance and inspection, and was formerly in the China Inspection and Quarantine Bureau (Food department of the Guangzhou branch) for nearly 13 years. He is well versed in all types of import and export food CIQ laws, regulations, food access process and auditing rules. His role at Guangdong Newever Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd has involved providing professional, reliable food access audit consulting for hundreds of large enterprises.
