Huizhou - Company Visit to ZAMA

ZAMA Group is a well-known diaphragm carburetor manufacturer in the forest and garden machinery industry worldwide. They supply to all major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of gasoline-powered outdoor tools, and regard themselves as the technology leader of their industry.

ZAMA history goes back as far as 1952, when the Shinagawa die-casting company started carburetor production in Shinagawa in Japan. Since 1984 all carburetors bear ZAMA brand. In 1987, ZAMA industries was founded in Hong Kong and the headquarter of ZAMA Group established in Tai Po in New Territories. In 1991, large parts of the production were moved to Shenzhen. As of 1.1.2009 the former owner sold all shares to ZAMA's biggest customer Andreas Stihl AG, the worldwide known technology leader for gardening and forestry equipment, one of the biggest family owned business role model for SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) in Germany.

ZAMA Group has branches in China, Hong Kong, USA, Japan and Philippines. ZAMA Precision Industries (Huizhou) Co., Ltd. was established in 2015 and started the moving from Shenzhen plant to the new plant in Huizhou from August 2017.

Although being owned by STIHL, ZAMA continues to supply the whole industry with its first class products and services and has proven to be a reliable, trustworthy partner to customers around the world.
