Dr. Xia was in charge of Director of Minimally Invasive Beauty and Hair Center of East Plastic Surgery Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and Deputy Director of Plastic Surgery Department of The Fourth Military Medical University Xi Jing Hospital. Currently she is in the role of Director for Hair Transplantation Center of Plastic Surgery Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. Dr. Xia is well renowned in micro plastic surgery field as takes in charge of Deputy Leader of Micro Plastic Surgery Division of Chinese Medical Association, as well as the chief expert in hyaluronic acid and botulinum toxin injection. Her conception of pain-free, traceless, beautiful and younger injection is highly popular among beauty lovers.
Dr. Xia also made great achievements in facial cosmetic and figure remodeling, especially in autologous fat transplantation and minimally invasive and rhytidectomy lifting etc. She has been undertaking and taking part in 11 national funded natural science projects, published 81 theses - 15 of which was included by SCI, awarded 2 national patents. She is the chief translator for the authoritative plastic surgery textbook “Grabb & Smith’s Plastic Surgery”.
