SwissCham Shanghai is delighted to invite you to visit Changzhou National Hi-tech District (CND). Established in 1992, Changzhou National Hi-Tech District (CND) is among the first group of State-level Hi-Tech Zones, ranking 3rd in Jiangsu Province. With a complete manufacturing industry chain, convenient transportation conditions, abundant human resources and a pleasant living environment in the core area of the Yangtze River Delta, CND has been the home to more than 1,800 foreign-invested advanced manufacturing enterprises mainly from Switzerland, America, Germany, Italy, France, Spain and among them 33 are Global Fortune 500.
In 2017, Sino-Swiss (Changzhou) International Industrial Innovation Park started construction, and it was recognized as a provincial-level international cooperation park by the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province in December 2020. As Changzhou is one of the cities with the highest number of Swiss enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta, CND has attracted Georg Fischer, Mettler Toledo, Reishauer, 3A Composites, Medela, Rieter, V-ZUG, Givaudan and more.

Wemhoener is a family-owned company from North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, who is passionate about the development and manufacture of mechanical equipment. Wemhoener focus on surface treatment technology for the artificial panel and furniture industries and today it is a key innovator and technology leader in the field of wood-based panel machinery and equipment whose products are sold all over the world.
GF is an international industrial corporation with its headquarters in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. GF comprises three divisions: GF Piping Systems, GF Casting Solutions, and GF Machining Solutions. GF is the preferred partner of its customers for the safe transport of liquids and gases, lightweight casting components, and high-precision manufacturing technologies.
Erdrich is a German company founded in 1962 which is specialized in producing auto parts. There are more than 1,600 employees totally and five branches over the world, distributed in Germany, the United States, Czech and China. Erdrich is in the leading position in the world for its professional metal forming and assembling technique in the auto parts industry. The main customers include the world-famous major supplier of automobile manufacturers and parts: BMW, Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz, Audi, Bosch, ZF, Continental and so on.
Terex Corporation is a global manufacturer of aerial work platforms and materials processing machinery, who design, build and support products used in construction, maintenance, manufacturing, energy, minerals and materials management applications. Their products are manufactured in North and South America, Europe, Australia, and Asia but sold worldwide. Terex engages with customers through all stages of the product life cycle.
Transportation:
Train tickets between Shanghai and Changzhou shall be purchased by the guest. Shuttle bus transportation in town is provided by CND.
