Education Day VPET Program at the "So Swiss" Pop-up (Invitation Only)

Dear Members and Friends of SwissCham,

It was slightly more than a year ago, in April 2021, at the National Vocational Education Conference, that President Xi Jinping emphasized optimizing the positioning of vocational education, and promoting the integration of vocational and general education.

The Consulate General of Switzerland in Shanghai is organizing the "So Swiss" Pop-up Event in November 2022. Tuesday, November 22 is dedicated to Education. During that day, SwissCham is organizing a program that includes short presentations and a round table on Vocational Training (VPET). The Embassy of Switzerland is also presenting a VPET exhibition.

This education day's central theme will be around Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET), in which Swiss government representatives, Swiss companies, local universities and vocational training schools, as well as other players will share and discuss Swiss experiences with local parties.

A white paper about Vocational and Professional Education and Training will also be released. This paper includes case studies from Swiss companies, some of them will be showcased in the VPET exhibition by the Embassy of Switzerland.

就在一年多以前的2021年4月，习近平主席在全国职业教育大会上强调了优化职业教育定位的重要性，以促进职业教育和普通教育的融合。

瑞士驻上海领事馆将于2022年11月举办"如此瑞士"快闪周，其中，11月22日（周二）的全天活动将围绕教育主题展开。届时，中国瑞士商会将开展以职业培训为主题的简短演讲和圆桌会议，同时，瑞士大使馆也将推出职业培训展览。

教育日的中心主题将围绕职业和专业教育与培训（VPET）展开，瑞士政府代表、瑞士企业、当地大学和职业培训学校以及其他参与者将分享和讨论瑞士在此方面的经验。

"如此瑞士"快闪周的教育日当天将发布一份关于职业和专业教育与培训的白皮书，其中包括瑞士公司的案例研究，这些案例也将在瑞士大使馆举办的VPET展览中进行展示。
