Online Q&A
Relations between Moscow and Beijing appear to be flourishing.
In a December video call, Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin traded bonhomie and pledged deeper cooperation. The two sides have upgraded their strategic partnership, conducted joint naval drills, and are working more closely in areas including technology.
But the relationship remains complex, and it's unclear if China and Russia's interests will continue to align.
Our guest will talk through all of this -- especially in light of recent events including the Xi-Putin call, Russia's stand-off with the West over Ukraine, and events in Central Asia.
