Since 2017, Berlin is developing 11 Zukunftsorte (Locations of the Future), excellence hubs, designed to facilitate the exchange between science and business and to offer companies and entrepreneurs optimal conditions for turning scientific ideas and research into market-viable products.


On October 12, 2022, at 4:30pm, Berlin Business Desk China (BBDC) invites you to join the Berlin in China event in the German Centre Beijing, this time with the focus on Berlin´s 11 Zukunftsorte (Locations of the Future). The CEO of the Business Office "Zukunftsorte" Berlin, Mr. Steffen Terberl, is going to present us the concept of the Zukunftsorte (Locations of the Future) and how it is shaping the current and future innovation landscape and business environment of Berlin. Mrs. Gudrun Sack, CEO at Tegel Projekt GmbH, will introduce the Location of the Future "Berlin TXL - The Urban Tech Republic" and highlight the business opportunities which are attracting companies and founders from all over the world to come to Berlin and the "Zukunftsorte". Furthermore, we invited real estate experts from Jones Lang LaSalle who will provide us with insights about the latest real estate market trends and forecasts in Germany and Berlin and some interesting projects with regards to modern living in Berlin.
