Dear VDMA member,
We are excited to announce the VDMA China - Online Event Series on Green Energy Transition in China and with great pleasure we invite you to our Session 2: China's Energy Transition scheduled on Mar 11, 2025.
In August 2024, China issued a White Paper titled "China's Energy Transition" to document the country's successful actions and historic achievements in this field over the past decade. We want to make an in-depth look at China's energy transition, highlight key policy developments in 2024 and share insights into what lies ahead for 2025. Key topics will include power market reform, electricity prices, grid flexibility, the hydrogen sector, coal, storage, and more. Ms. Yin and Mr. Fremery from the GIZ project Energy Partnership have analysed the paper and Chinas recent actions. The presentation will be followed by an open discussion, where participants are encouraged to ask questions and engage.
Speaker: Ms. Yin Yuxia and Mr. Vincent Fremery, Director and Advisor at the Sino-German Energy Partnership, GIZ
