Event Details

International container transport has been facing a perfect storm of factors leading to equipment shortages, price volatility, delays and poor reliability impacting global supply chains. While there are no easy nor quick solutions to the present day situation, a look at the root causes may provide learnings to avoid similar situations in the future.

The German Chamber of Commerce in China is very delighted to have invited Martin Klose as the moderator and Jens Eskelund as our speaker to provide perspectives from the vantage point of Maersk, a global leading transportation and integrated container logistics company. Jens will take a closer look at challenges facing container transport over the past year and try to diagnose root causes in this presentation.
