From the very beginning, the chemical industry has been driven by innovation. Today, the industry is facing major challenges such as climate change, digitalization, the transformation of its customers' industries - and most recently, COVID-19. By harnessing the power of innovation, however, these challenges can be turned into opportunities.

Dr. Martin Brudermüller, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at BASF SE, will share insights on BASF's journey toward developing chemistry for a sustainable future. BASF's ambition is to grow profitably and CO2-neutral simultaneously by 2030. Dr. Brudermüller will share several R&D projects which leverage innovative resources for a better future, such as its unique product portfolio, operational & value chain experience.
