In this webinar, companies will share useful digital tools to support day-to-day operations during the coronavirus outbreak. Representatives from companies of different fields and sizes will share their experience and internal solutions of working under the current situation, and the various technical tools that help make the operation smoother.


Session Outline:

  • What are the challenges of the home office from a technical perspective, e.g., employees' location, internet access, computer setup, tools, etc.?
  • How can companies implement the home office system on a practical level? How do they deal with task distribution, team communication, etc.?
  • How can technology assist with evaluating work performance while working from home?

    In October 2016, Dr. Sigrid Winkler was appointed Executive Chamber Manager at the German Chamber of Commerce in China | Shanghai and is in charge of the membership organization at the Chamber. Dr. Winkler joined the German Chamber earlier in spring 2016, initially as Project Manager Social Responsibility where she was responsible for the More than a Market initiative. Dr. Winkler holds a PhD in Political Science from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium and a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Studies from Vienna University. Before joining the German Chamber, she was Head of Office of the Austrian Academic Exchange Agency (OeAD) in Shanghai. Previously, Dr. Winkler managed international business development projects in China and Eastern Europe for Business Upper Austria, the economic agency of the regional government of Upper Austria. She has published numerous peer-reviewed articles on EU-China relations, and since 2002, she has been regularly coming back to China for shorter and longer-term stays.
