As China is shifting from an export driven economy towards a more sustainable consumer driven economic model, the country is moving up the value chain. Accordingly, wages in China are continuously on the rise. HR managers are frequently asking themselves whether the salaries their companies are paying match the overall level in different job categories. Since 2008 the German Chamber of Commerce provides its member companies with a benchmark by carrying out an extensive wage survey among its members.
Join us on September 17th for an in-depth discussion of the wage and salary developments of your employees in 2019, current developments on the job market and an outlook on the developments in 2020. The presentation will focus on the following aspects:
- General labor market environment and expected development
- Regional developments
- Wage developments of German companies in China
