"What you do for your job is not who you are. You bring who you are to your job," says Victoria Wilk, Director of Regulatory Affairs for Boeing China. Join us for our next spotlight dinner with Victoria to hear about her journey from Silicon Valley to Beijing. Learning from her own experiences Victoria will discuss how to get that "big break" without breaking yourself, and how to build your career strategically.


A mechanical engineer by training, Victoria rose through the ranks of Boeing in their Seattle, Washington headquarters. When she sought an international assignment, Victoria was offered a role outside her comfort zone. She and her wife, Melanie, moved to China with only a few months notice.


Hear about how Victoria managed through her career transitions, grappling with self-doubt and changing her mindset to continue to excel. Learn how to design your own high-powered career and handle massive transitions, both personally and professionally.


For this Spotlight Dinner, we are requiring pre-payment for the dinner cost of 70 RMB. There will be no additional cost required on the night of the event. Please email us in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.

    Director of Safety & Regulatory Affairs at Boeing

    Victoria Wilk was named Boeing’s Director of Safety of Regulatory Affairs for the Asia-Pacific region in September 2017. She is responsible for leading Boeing Commercial Airplane Safety & Regulatory activity in-region, with primary focus on China. Victoria is responsible for evolving and executing Boeing’s Aviation Safety partnerships in China, and working with CAAC on regulatory and rulemaking issues. Victoria Wilk is co-chair of Aviation Cooperation Partnership’s Manufacturing & Airworthiness committee.

    Victoria’s 11 years with Boeing has been spent primarily in the 737 Program in Renton, Washington. She has served as a leader in Passenger Cabin Certification, Passenger Cabin Electronics, In-Flight-Entertainment, Data Connectivity, Pilot Avionics, Pilot Displays, Boeing Business Jet Engineering, and 737 Product Development Engineering.
