In Nigeria, the day is called Independence Day', marking the day Nigeria officially gained independence from the British Colonialists.
To celebrate the shared day of celebration of both countries, the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NiDO) East China Chapter is organizing the Nigeria Cultural Show.

Call For Nigerian Performers & Displays
NiDO hereby calls for performers who are interested in displaying the various aspects of Nigerian culture.
Each performer would be given 5-10 minutes to perform. Performers may be a group of people or individuals and covers various aspects already listed above (comedy, dance, drama, drums, music, fashion, stories, poetry etc).

Handicraft Displays
In addition, to performances, we invite those who wish to display handicrafts such as Nigerian beads, clothes and other handicrafts native to Nigeria. The items would be in a display area where visitors to the event can make purchases.
