Celina Chew
President at Bayer Greater ChinaCelina brings curiosity and diversity to her current role as President of Bayer in Greater China. She has a combined Malaysian, Australian and Chinese heritage, and is a lawyer by profession. She joined Bayer in Hong Kong in 1997 as in-house legal counsel before moving to management roles. She has worked for Bayer in both China and South East Asia. Based in Bangkok, she previously led Bayer’s activities in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos.

As President Bayer Greater China, Celina’s interests include building bridges to China’s local innovation capabilities, whether through start-up incubator programs like Grants4Apps or digital health communities such as Stem4Health. This is in line with Celina’s deep interest in connections - connecting ideas, connecting people or connecting the dots. As part of her responsibilities as well as her personal passion, Celina works on topics such as sustainable development, social entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility.
